If the car turns out to be clocked, written off, stolen or has finance outstanding within 30 days, then you can return it and get your money back.
All vehicles covered by the NI Approved Scheme include a warranty for 6 months or more* to give you peace of mind.
Every vehicle in the NI Approved Used scheme is subjected to a rigorous multi-point check by trained staff. This can be divided into six main categories and checks include:
Body condition, lights, tyres, alignment, wipers, battery, vital fluids, operating systems, brakes, security, a test drive and the cleaning and preparation of the vehicle.
Vehicle history is a worry for anyone buying a used car. The NI Approved Used scheme takes that worry away. Should any information on the history check provided with the sale of the car be shown to be incorrect within 30 days, the dealer will take the vehicle back and refund your money.
All vehicles covered by the NI Approved Scheme include a warranty for six months or more (unless they are already covered by at least six months manufacturer’s warranty*). Ask your dealer for details of the warranty provided.
